Valerie A. Mosman has dedicated more than two decades of her legal career to trial practice, earning a reputation as a formidable litigator in both state and federal courts across Texas. She specializes in high-stakes cases involving products liability, trucking and transportation litigation, premises liability, and medical malpractice, particularly those resulting in catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

With years of experience on the defense side, Valerie has seen firsthand how strong cases can be undervalued—often due to plaintiff’s attorneys who fail to properly prepare, lack emotional investment in their client’s story, or are simply unwilling to take a case to trial. Her deep understanding of insurance companies and corporate defendants’ inner workings gives her a strategic advantage—she knows how to anticipate and neutralize their tactics. Valerie uses this insight to push for maximum compensation, whether in negotiations with adjusters or in the courtroom.

Beyond her practice, Valerie is deeply committed to advancing the legal profession. She serves on the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors and is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Valerie is also a 2024 graduate of the Trial Lawyers College. She is frequently invited to speak, present, and moderate at industry events, sharing her expertise on topics such as working up truck accident cases and the do’s and don’ts of mediation.

As a result of her commitment to continued legal education, Valerie has also been asked to join the Texas Bar College. The Texas Bar College is a professional society of legal scholars who are leaders in the Texas legal community and champions of legal education, with members committed to high ethical standards and improved training for all legal professionals.

Valerie graduated from Dallas’ Southern Methodist University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising and got her law degree at St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio in 1996.

Outside the courtroom, Valerie is just as driven. She runs half-marathons, plays with her five dogs, cheers on her beloved SMU Mustangs (Go Ponies!), and most of all, enjoys time with her three kids and her husband of over 28 years, Tony.
