Civil personal injury attorney John Sloan with The Sloan Firm is the president of the Board of Directors of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer College. John has tried cases to juries from Philadelphia all the way to New Mexico, and in the big and small cities all throughout Texas. As a small-town lawyer who built a nationwide practice and a very smart law firm, John believes that we as lawyers should ‘remember our why–‘ why we answered this calling to service in the law, and why we continue to do this work.
